Taminga, grape variety bred specifically for hot australian conditions (see also tarrango) by A. J. Antcliff from traminer. Taminga is not widely planted but is capable of ripening and producing white wine of fair quality in a wide variety of different sites with an average yield of 90 hl/ha (5 tons/acre).
