Traminer, name applied both to white-berried and pink-berried non-aromatic clones of the more famous, distinctly aromatic, pink-skinned grape variety gewürztraminer or Traminer Aromatico (see also savagnin). All are known in various parts of the world, particularly in central and eastern Europe, by names which are derivations of the word Traminer.
