Whisk 200ml (generous ¾ cup) double (heavy) cream with 50ml (scant ¼ cup) crème fraîche, 1 tablespoon granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon rose water (or to taste) and the ground seeds of 4 green cardamom pods.
