  • About
Flushing is so much more than Chinatown, which is probably why it will always be king to me. You have the Korean side, which has been mostly east Flushing, and then you have the Chinese side along Main Street.
In recent years, Flushing has become more of a gaudy tourist destination, where restaurateurs serve up whatever they think is popular at the time, and the neighborhood is expanding outward, growing toward College Point Boulevard with new developments that make Flushing feel like Los Angeles. Nevertheless, a few old go-tos are still hanging around.
