The eclectic mix of cooks and chefs who work with Riverford have one thing in common: an enthusiasm for cooking with fresh seasonal produce and making vegetables the star of the plate. Riverford’s founder Guy Watson is an enthusiastic amateur cook who has honed his skills over 30 years cooking veg for breakfast, lunch and dinner. He is supported by the chefs in our farm restaurant (the Field Kitchen) and a community of professionals inspired by the quality of the farm’s produce and style of cooking who devise the recipes that appear in the veg boxes and work up and down the country at Riverford events.
