Throughout my childhood, I always looked forward to weekends, because that was when my parents opened up our home to family and friends. The ultimate compliment is when you have gatherings in your home and you can’t seem to get anyone to leave! In fact, sometimes my parents’ closest friends would show up with a bottle of wine and a suitcase on Friday, enjoy Saturday’s supper club, and not leave until Sunday afternoon.
Entertaining has always been a significant part of my life. I grew up learning the essential ingredients for throwing a great party and playing hostess at a young age. These days, the bakery is our home-away-from-home, so once a month, we do a pop-up supper club–any excuse to unfold my vintage linens, and I’m in!
