Celebration Bakes

These are the big guns! From pretty cupcakes to towering layer cakes, these bakes are glamorous and impressive, perfect for a big party and so much easier to make than they look.

If we had a signature bake, it would be layer cakes. I started baking them back in the early days of Bad Girl, and while they have come a long way since then, they are still a favourite and we absolutely love baking them.

They are always three layers, giving (we think) the perfect ratio of sponge to filling. And they are never just buttercream and sponge either: we like to add hidden surprises, like biscuit pieces, fresh fruit, caramel and curds.
