I recommend that you do your homework before you buy equipment, even on the cheapest items. There is good advice on the internet – Amazon reviews are really helpful. I recommend places like eBay for second-hand items such as stand mixers, but make sure whatever you buy is returnable. These days there are also great new mixers and processors available in a wide range of price brackets. This list of equipment is not exhaustive, but I wanted to give an idea of the key items I love, to help you become your best baker yet.
