The vegetables in this chapter are written as side dishes to go with your choice of protein, but they’re all really great with a bowl of rice as well. As they all have great flavour, you can simply stir-fry some pork, beef, seafood or poultry and add it to any of these dishes to turn them into a substantial meal.
Feel free to swap vegetables in and out of these recipes depending on what you love — just because I have a recipe for Chinese broccoli and oyster sauce, it doesn’t mean you can’t use whatever vegetable or combination you like in the same recipe.
