Choosing a barbecue can sometimes be like a Chinese puzzle: electric, gas, wood, with hotplate, rotisserie…
What to choose? It’s essential first of all to picture the site where your future culinary jousts will take place, so that you can secure the perimeter.
This is not the place to cut corners—we don’t want to send the neighbourhood up in flames! A barbecue needs to be in an isolated spot without too much vegetation around it, and preferably close to a source of water.
