Stéphane Reynaud's Barbecue

  • About
The fantasy of cooking just anywhere, around a flame, as night falls on a steamy day, the heat of the moment like the thrill of a wedding night, lives inside all of us.
We picture ourselves with a stack of wood, a hand-caught trout, a few vegetables gleaned from an abandoned field, a bottle of good red wine at the bottom of the backpack, the wide open spaces, a touch of MacGyver, a Swiss knife in the pocket…

Survivor only exists on television. Saturday adventurers must above all observe very strict rules of safety to avoid the firefighters being called out again. The site needs to be suitable for improvising a barbecue, and during summer in many areas such activities are strictly forbidden. The weather musn’t be too dry, there mustn’t be any wind, and the area must be completely cleared.
