Ever encounter fridge-frigid dough and the recipe says, ‘roll out chilled dough”. Yikes!
It’s nearly impossible. You can always wait until it warms up a bit but this chef’s trick also helps. Using your rolling pin, gently hit the dough to soften it a bit and get it into rolling shape. Be gentle. But this is a great trick to coax your dough to a texture and temperature that makes rolling easier.
