One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how to substitute ingredients. As a general rule of thumb, the best approach is to find a recipe that utilizes the specific ingredients you have available to you. As you now know, baking is a science, and making any changes can affect the final result of your baked goods. Always proceed with caution when making substitutions.
