Travel away from the coast up into the mountains, past the expensive village of Bormes, and then turn right and travel along the road overlooking the Mediterranean to the islands of Hyères. Turn into a little track and you land at this amazing little summer secret for those who want a restful and simple, fresh, homemade, organic meal with almost everything produced on the farm. The sun shines long and warm here and perhaps it makes the egg yolks a vivid orange as both the omelettes and the crème caramel have a rich golden glow. The drinks on the menu are homemade apple juice and tisanes from garden mint and verbena, so if you wish for some wine, be sure to bring your own.
