Huntsman Farm

Huntsman Farm in the Wye valley is overlooked by Charlie Westhead, who I had just visited at Neal’s Yard Creamery. Good food deserves good surroundings and, on my arrival, I had literally to drive over the River Wye, just downriver from where I had caught a couple of salmon earlier in the year.

Rosamund, Richard Vaughan’s wife greeted me and, what do you know, she comes from Lyme Regis, just 6 miles down the coast from West Bay, so we had a bit of a natter, including some local chit chat, and reminisced about Lyme Bay and Chesil Beach before we even got our wellies on to tour the farm.
