  • About
The most popular oysters in Northern Ireland are from the Cuan Sea Fisheries on Sketrick Island in Killinchy, Co Down. Jasper Parsons, proud owner of Cuan, has been supplying oysters to our restaurants for many years and, in or out of native season, his Strangford Lough pacific oysters sit comfortably in the oyster section at J. Sheekey and Scott’s alongside Duchy of Cornwalls, West Mersea natives, Whitstables and fines de claires.
Jasper’s marketing of his oysters is simply about the purity of the Class A waters in the Lough, which is down to the fast (up to six-knot) currents in the sea surrounding their island on Strangford Lough.
