  • About
You’ve already read about my chocolate preferences. I’m very particular about my ingredients when I bake and cook and, of course, have my personal favorites. I do frequently get asked to list what brands I use, so that my culinary students can replicate what I’m concocting in their own kitchens. Following is a list of my ingredient preferences for your use.

Bob’s Red Mill: This Northwest flourmill uses century-old stone-grinding equipment to freshly mill whole-grain products. Their diverse and extensive product line is available in natural or organic versions. My personal favorites are: Unbleached (Organic) White Flour, White Whole Wheat Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Yeast, Cornmeal, and the list goes on and on. Visit them at www.bobsredmill.com or call 800-349-2173.
