Traveling in Burma

Now that the political situation has eased dramatically and the country’s politics are more open, Burma has become a very attractive destination. The best times to go, in terms of weather, are from early November until the end of February, the dry season. Temperatures cool down and the skies are generally clear. The first months of rainy season (June and July) are another good time, for the countryside is green and lush; skies may be gray and it rains sometimes, but then it clears and the light is beautiful.
