  • About
In the north of China, the Lunar New Year culminates in the Lantern Festival on the 15th day. Tianguan, the Taoist deity responsible for good fortune, loved all kinds of entertainment and celebrated his birthday on the 15th day of the first lunar month. In homage, fun-filled activities take place and lanterns are lit to create the ambience of gaiety that he so loved.

Good luck messages for the Spring Festival are even painted on to chillies and fireworks.
