  • About
Tea is the main non-alcoholic beverage of many parts of China, alongside water, fruit juices, soft drinks and sometimes soybean milk, although coffee is increasingly popular — especially in cities — as cafe culture continues its global march. In terms of alcohol, Chinese wine made from grains is much enjoyed, especially when served hot to keep out the chill during the winter months, alongside beer and warming liquors and, more recently, wine made from grapes, which grow well in some parts of China.
