Jo: This endeavour started with the best of intentions. I have often proclaimed that when it comes to dumplings, I have never tried a restaurant version that beat my mum’s homemade ones, so we thought this would be a fitting inclusion in this chapter. Sounds great, I thought – I’ll just go home and ask her for her recipe. Easier said than done.
