  • About
I recommend a frame of wet florist’s foam for this wreath which, with care, will keep the herbs in a perfect and usable condition for 2-4 weeks. If the wreath is intended to be kept and dried, simply cease to water the foam and place the wreath in a cool, airy and preferably sunless place until the leaves and flowers are paper-dry. I like to make this style of wreath with a 20-22.5cm (8-9in) ring-shaped frame of florist’s foam, ideally fitted with a black or green plastic holder so that the wreath can be placed directly on a table. Soak the foam frame in cold water for 1-2 hours until completely wet, then drain off any surplus water and place on a layer of double-thickness newspaper or cloth to absorb any extra water that may drip from it.
