  • About
For small areas such as spots or insect bites, the essential oil can be applied diluted in a carrier oil, covering it with a piece of cotton wool or warm, damp gauze so that the oil is absorbed into the skin.
Where a larger area is being treated, add 10 drops to 100ml (generous 3fl oz) of hot water, soak a piece of cotton wool in the mixture and then put it (as hot as the person can bear without burning the skin) onto the area being treated. Wrap with plastic or cotton and hold a hot water bottle to it to keep the area warm.
