I love making and eating dips; they are so easy to whizz up and so versatile! Great served on individual plates as starters, decorated attractively with fresh salad, chopped herbs, a sprinkling of spices, a swirl of olive oil or some olives (as appropriate). They can also be served as light meals in themselves or sandwich fillings or served with drinks. Some can even be served as a ‘sauce’ or a side with a hot main course.
