  • About

Depending on what your starting point is, going vegan can be a gradual process or something that happens overnight, and everyone’s personal experience is unique. Making the change can be straightforward if you’re already vegetarian – many vegetarians find, as I did, that over time they naturally become more and more vegan in their eating and lifestyle – but there are equally some who feel quite dependent on cheese as a flavour and ingredient and find it hard to imagine cutting it out completely. There are also countless people making the change from a ‘traditional’ meat-eating diet straight to veganism. It may feel quite different at the beginning: looking carefully at ingredients lists when shopping, telling friends about your dietary needs when they cook for you, and asking for a special menu when you eat out. Whatever your starting point, if you feel the urge to ‘go vegan’, I encourage you to give it a try.
