Even though a lot of the large-scale smoking has moved out of the city, you can still find groups of local fishermen smoking fish on a smaller scale. It can be sometimes be hard to approach these small communities, but if you do make their acquaintance you may be able to procure a little of their delicious freshly smoked fish.
Of course, a wide variety of smoked fish are available at the fishmongers and supermarkets – smoked fish of all kinds really are an important ingredient at the lunch table.
