  • About
The tradition of hot dog stands and carts has been embraced by modern ‘foodsters’ all over Copenhagen, bringing the quality and variety of sausage and hot dogs, add-ons and breads to a new level. It’s all about choice. There is now the organic hot dog, which has more meat and is served on wholegrain bread. Hot dogs are the first kind of fast food to find its way to Denmark.
The hot dog carts are known as pølsevogn. Pølse is the word for sausage/hot dog. The sausages are boiled and/or grilled, but can be just served boiled; it’s your choice.
