Craft Beers

The most famous large breweries in Denmark are Carlsberg and Tuborg who brew traditional beers on a large scale. Micro-brewing, however, has become very popular in the last 12 to 15 years, and many craft beer enthusiasts brewing different types of beer on a small scale have sprung up all over Denmark, including Mikkeller and Friends. The beautifully designed microbrewery establishments have ten to 40 beers on offer at any one time and have become trendy places to eat and drink in as the brewers have started to collaborate with top Danish chefs.
