Rick Bayless is the chef-owner of Frontera Grill and Topolobampo and owner of Zinfandel, all in Chicago. Bayless was named one of America’s Best New Chefs of 1988 by Food & Wine magazine. In 1991, he was named Best Chef of the Midwest and in 1995 he received the Outstanding Chef Award from The James Beard Foundation. He is also the author, with his wife Deann, of Authentic Mexican, and a member of the Who’s Who of Food and Beverage in America.

Daniel Boulud is the chef-owner of Restaurant Daniel at the Surrey Hotel in New York City, which was awarded four stars from The New York Times. He was formerly the chef of Le Cirque. In 1992, he was named the Best Chef of New York and in 1994 he received the Outstanding Chef Award from The James Beard Foundation. A member of the Who’s Who of Food and Beverage in America, he is the author of Cooking with Daniel Boulud.
