  1. Grilling. It’s one of those things I couldn’t live without. I love smoky flavors. And they go really, really well with the rest of this stuff.
  2. Boiling. You’ve got to cook corn and beans a long time.
  3. Shallow-frying. I’m referring to when you cook something slowly for a long time, in just a tiny bit of oil, and it kind of gets crusty and you scrape it all up.
