First Dinner at Trishna, Followed by a Brief Exploration of Kala Ghoda

YOUR FIRST STOP of the evening will take you to the bustling precinct of Kala Ghoda, located just to the north of Colaba and east of Oval Maidan. Begin at the junction of MG Road and B Bharucha Road (formerly called Esplanade Road and Military Square Lane), so you can first wander down the narrow back streets populated (a touch incongruously) with cafés, the odd deli, an art gallery or two, and obscure boutiques. Browse and enjoy it, of course. It is somewhat removed from the Bombay we have seen today: if you squint and with a bit of effort, you could imagine yourself in an entirely different place.
