Migraine support groups can be a double-edged sword when you’re not feeling well, but there is so much hope and inspiration tucked away in them. It was in one of these support groups, called Migraine Strong, that I first met Alicia. We both got sick with chronic vestibular migraine (VM) around the same time, and I found myself gravitating toward people who were making small gains, allowing opportunities for education rather than expressing the fear and uncertainty that comes with this diagnosis.
