200km off-road race, Sussex Mystery Tour – a one-day self-supported route on the South Downs, England.
PRE-RIDE

Peanut butter and strawberry jam on rye bread. The plan was a flapjack in lieu of oats, but I was camping and woke up hungry so went with my mid-morning ride snack instead (which was wrapped in beeswax cloth). A tip is not to cut your sandwich so it stays flat and together in your pocket/bike bag.
