The Walkerswood Story

In the 80s I started to visit a sleepy little village some 40 miles away from Kingston (the bustling capital of Jamaica), and just 9 miles from Ocho Rios, the popular tourist resort. My sister Nancy had moved into the rural paradise of Walkerswood, employing the skilled hands of a few villagers to help produce her art and craft designs. Home was what used to be the old schoolhouse on the Bromley property. A stunningly beautiful location, central to the village, surrounded by hills and pastureland.
