  • About
In most Lithuanian vegetable dishes, one vegetable comprises nine-tenths of the dish, although there are exceptions. These dishes generally also contain meat, fat, eggs, mushrooms, fresh white cheese and sour cream –either added directly or in prepared sauces or fillings. There is a great variety of vegetable dishes in the cuisine because of the many combinations of ingredients and different methods of preparation.
