Aromatic Herbs

Pot-pourri is a mixture of dried petals, herbs and spices which are kept in a bowl to bring the scents of summer into the house all through the winter. There are countless recipes for pot-pourri, some handed down for generations. Most of them centre round rose petals but you can experiment with whatever strongly scented flowers you have in the garden—the rules are not hard-and-fast.
