The Art of Turkish Cooking, Neşet Eren, Doubleday, 1969.

Years ago I dined in the home of Ne§et Eren, the wife of Nuri Eren, then the Turkish Deputy Ambassador to the United Nations. The food was magnificent from the snow almonds and cheese boereks to the chicken walnut and baklava. I was one of the first to purchase her book on Turkish cuisine and have found it to be a source of happy memories ever since. Mrs. Eren is an excellent cook and her expertise is reflected in this volume.
