There’s no need to stock your kitchen with every gadget on the market. In fact, if all you have is a few bowls, a whisk, a wooden spoon, a rubber spatula, a baking sheet, and a couple of other pans—all items you probably already own—you can make many recipes. But certain pieces of equipment do come in handy for baking, making the process easier and the results better. Here are the items I think are important.
