The whole crew — Mike the cameraman, Martin the sound recordist, Nick the director, Wendy the production manager, Raj the researcher, Stan the producer, Adrian, Stan’s assistant, nurse and transport manager, Murry, my Indian chef, my wife Tess and myself had found it really hard going in Mumbai but everyone was in immensely high spirits as we boarded the plane to Jaipur in Rajasthan, despite the fact that it was Indian Airlines. By the way, if you are travelling internally in India, whenever possible use Jet Airways — a superb privately owned airline and one that serves excellent food (in Club class anyway!).
