      The library has fifteen thousand volumes and thirty-five hundred pamphlets. The Szathmary Culinary Archives forms the nucleus of this collection, focusing on food preparation and service from the fifteenth century to the present. The collection is multinational and in addition to cookbooks also includes materials related to nutrition, cannibalism, food erotica, food literature, and food practices. Some of the collection has been digitized.
