At the end of 2009 I will have lived in London for more than 20 years.
By then, I’ll be 46 years old. That’s quite a chunk of my life to have lived in one city. I truly love this amazingly diverse and bustling metropolis, its parks and open spaces; its extraordinary cultural life; its diversity and potential - and the underground tube system (I think I’m its biggest fan). It really is a privilege to be able to live and work here. Obviously many people, from all around the world, feel similarly. With a population of over 7V2 million, London is the largest city in the European Union and provides a home to almost every race and culture existing on the planet.
