Swine & Dine Team, 2002

Swine & Dine is one of Memphis in May’s largest teams, and has competed in 24 of the contest’s 26 years. Their 85 members are teachers, wrestling coaches, network television executives, cooks, bartenders, restaurant managers, oil company and advertising executives, nurses, real estate and stock brokers, engineers, and furniture sales people. Before coming to Memphis we picked their name out of a hat, and found 85 wonderful, friendly, generous, and hospitable folks–who cook up a mean pork shoulder, luscious ribs, and oh! that BBQ baloney!.
