Belle English is the director and head chef of the Williams Sonoma Test Kitchen, where she oversees all recipe development, product testing, cookbook creation, and culinary content. Born and raised in Boston, Belle fell in love with cooking and baking at an early age in her family’s restaurants and opened a bakery of her own when she was just seventeen. She has spent her entire career working in professional kitchens, editorial test kitchens, and in her own kitchen running a catering company. A resident of San Francisco, Belle is also a writer, culinary illustrator, and food stylist.
