  • About
Customers can’t make better choices about eating if better choices aren’t available to them. Bakers and pastry chefs can help by providing healthful products alongside regular ones, letting the customer choose which to eat. Providing free samples, whenever possible, lets your customer know that good health can taste good.
If at first your products are rejected, reevaluate, make changes, and try again. There is no need to lower your standards or expect that the customer will lower theirs. Healthful baked items might look and taste different, but if done right, they can be—they must be—attractive and tasty. Here are some commonsense guidelines for baking with health in mind.
