- Prepare brownies using the above formula or using any basic brownie formula. Prepare one batch of brownies for each variation.
- Label sheet pans or ovens with type of fat replacer used in brownies.
- Use an oven thermometer placed in center of oven for an initial reading of oven temperature. Record results here: _____.
- When oven is properly preheated, place filled sheet pans in oven and set timer for 30–35 minutes.
- Bake until brownies firm up and a wooden pick comes out clean.
