A simple steak and Pommes Frites Pont–Neuf are one of the joys of eating in France. They are available in almost any bistro, or any fine restaurant.
Unfortunately we do not have a steak to equal those of France. But either a rump steak or a round steak, when properly treated, responds similarly.
