  • About
Buffet foods are designed to serve more than six. Usually guests do not sit down at a dinner table to eat. But if your dining area and table are large enough to give everybody elbow room, and you have enough comfortable chairs, have your guests sit down. Do not crowd guests around a dining table or perch them on foldup chairs. They would be happier sitting in the living room and eating β€œΓ  la plat.” Also do not invite more people than you have space for in the house.
Meats for the buffet should be in bite-sized pieces since it is awkward to cut meat while balancing a plate on one’s lap. In other words, β€œfork foods.”
