  • About
Summer pudding is the month’s biggest treat. If the weather has held up soft fruits in the latter half of June, they should now catch up and come racing through. The English strawberry season continues in full swing, with the even headier delights of home-produced raspberries following fast behind.
When you get bored with summer pudding made with red and black fruits – raspberries, red currants, blackberries, loganberries, blackcurrants, strawberries, cherries for those who are not purists, and so on – try a stunning variation with pale fruits: white currants, dessert gooseberries and yellow raspberries.
