  • About

Sharing the lived experiences of food producers is one of the best ways to improve consumer knowledge, which is something very dear to my heart.

By Mark Eather

I was born in the upper Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, Australia, to many generations of terrestrial farmers on my mum’s side. Dad’s side was where I originally learnt to fish, so from a very young age I was blessed to have wonderful, loving mentors on both sides of the family. They instilled a work ethic in me which is about striving to achieve excellence in whatever you turn your hand to; to work hard but smart; and to truly care for and respect the wonders of the job that awesome Mother Nature does for us.
