Writing a book was not what I imagined it to be. It’s a lot of work, a lot of cooking, and (rather fortunately) a lot of eating. I had a blast, but it wouldn’t have been half as fantastic without some pretty cool people. It takes a village to write a recipe book – and it certainly takes a village to finish up all the leftovers.

Kyra: First, and always first, thank you to my amazing baby sister and hand model extraordinaire. No one holds a bowl with as much elegance as you. I love cooking for you, even though I don’t get to do it very often anymore. Hopefully this book will give you a little help while trying to feed yourself down under. Nutrigrain is a tasty snack, but not a proper dinner – remember that. I miss you infinitely.
